If I were eligible to vote in the U.S. I would choose
President Obama because his vision for the future is one with global dialogue
(not just military might) and he has fought hard to help Americans recover from
the economic meltdown of 2008-09.
He needs four more years in the White House to continue building America
by investing in education, clean energy and job creation. Obamacare ensures access to free
preventive care and protects consumers from insurance company abuses. The Obama Administration also places
womens' issues higher on the list. He has signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay
Act to help women fight back against pay discrimination.
Mitt Romney on the other hand, is a wealthy Republican
businessman who cares little about helping the middle class. He wants to repeal Obamacare, give tax
cuts to millionaires, give more funding to the military, and subsidize big oil
companies. This sounds like a step backwards to me.
I a hundred percent agree with you! Romney has come from a very wealthy family and has never had to deal with middle class issues. he is also a businessmen and those would be the last people i would trust to run the country. sure they might know how to run businesses but they do not understand the struggle middle class families tend to deal with. he also in my opinion not capable to run a country, he does not have the credentials! on another note obama has had to deal with middle class families his whole life, coming from one. he grew up in a single parent home and lived with people that had live from pay check to pay check. he understands more what these people are going through! Obama came into office after the Bush administration which in my opinion is the worst in american history. america had been through 2 wars at the time and a massive economic problem! i think that he has tried very hard to get the country back and running but after what bush left it will be a long time! another 4 years is great for him and the USA!
ReplyDeleteI am curious to see how four more years of the Obama administration will handle the current economic crises plaguing the United States!
ReplyDeleteI, too, would be voting for President Obama had I had the chance! I feel that his ideas are "for the people" and each plan that he has created for the next term he will serve addresses the needs of Americans citizens to the highest degree of effectiveness. I, too, agree with his stance on Obamacare, as well as other various positions that he holds such as the legalization of abortion and same-sex marriage. Obama is the President that America needs right now in my opinion.
